Food - Countable and uncountable nouns
I prepared by researching and selecting digital tools that could be useful for future classes, making sure they were accessible and easy to use. I organized a clear structure for the presentation, focusing on the topic "Food – Countable and Uncountable Nouns," and divided the lesson into sections using different digital tools to show how each could be applied: Wordwall and YouTube for the warm-up, Padlet for writing, english-practice.net for listening, Isl Collective for reading, and Canva for speaking. I also prepared practical examples for each tool to demonstrate their classroom use effectively.
One challenge was making sure my classmates could understand how to apply the tools in a real classroom setting. Since some of the tools were new to them, there were technical questions and some confusion about their use. It was also challenging to manage the time and explain each tool with examples without extending the presentation too much, as I wanted to show how to integrate all the tools effectively
I interacted with my classmates by encouraging questions and addressing their concerns during the presentation. I learned that when explaining digital tools, it is essential to provide clear, detailed examples because some classmates needed more context to understand their classroom application. Their feedback helped me identify which tools generated the most interest and which ones required more explanation, which will help me improve in future presentations.
In future presentations, I would dedicate more time to questions and peer feedback to make sure everyone understands the tools. I would also consider including short live demonstrations of each tool so my classmates could see how they work in real-time. Additionally, I might prepare a short guide or handout with links and tips, so they have something to refer to when using the tools in their own teaching.
